L'espresso offers international-style food firmly based in
traditional Italian-style cooking, but with French and Asian
influences. In the evenings L'espresso changes its
personality slightly. From a bustling , lively daytime cafe,
it transforms itself into a more sedate, relaxed
environment. The restaurant is set with white tablecloths
and table lamps. A special evening menu is designed and
introduced weekly by chefs Michelle Hastings and Bryson
Ross. L'espresso's small kitchen is bursting with activity.
The production reaches its crescendo around 6 pm every

L'espresso uses a selection of the best available dried
pasta in the world. The famous Martelli pasta from Lari near
Pisa is made by hand and air dried. Fettuccine and rigatoni
