Lounge 2005 - Seventh Big Year!!!
Over the last seven years RATNET has produced almost 100 hours
of Banana Lounge Live Internet Broadcasts, involving over 160
acts!!! No LIVE broadcast in 2005,, but archives will be uploaded
onto the net soon after each event. As in the past 5 years, the
event is being recorded and crewed by Uni of Ballarat Arts Academy
Diploma of Entertainment students, who will again show off their
amazing technical skills in producing Ballarat's biggest winter
event. DONT MISS IT- Three big Nights, THU JULY 28 - FRI JULY

The Banana Lounge 2005 Website is now online with details
of some of the special and kooky things that will happen in addition
to the advertised line-up. BANANA LOUNGE - Ballarat's multi-personality

Recording Weekends for new Ballarat CD - 2004
Over 2 big weeks (June 3rd to June 12th) 23 local acts were recorded
live (to 16tr ADAT if you are interested) for mixdown to produce
the new album of local music - 'Did SOmeone Here Say Ballarat?'
Volume 4. It's great that the CD series of compilations has lasted
over 6 years!!.
The album is being produced and promoted by The University of
Ballarat, Arts Academy, Diploma of Entertainment (lighting and
sound) Course, and involved 25 hard working students producing
6 nights with over 14 hours of live music. 'Rush mixes' will be
placed online shortly

Venue Open in Ballarat!! - July 2003
The
KAROVA Lounge (not Corova!!) is now open, run by Ballarat
music stalwart Mr Paddy O'Driscoll. The venue will feature the
best in local and touring bands several nights a week.
Located at Cnr Camp and Field Sts, the venue will continue the
long tradition of supporting original music here in Ballarat.

now CLOSED! We are sad to announce that in early Feb 2003 The
Bridge Mall Inn closed its doors and will not be featuring original
music in the near future.

over 200 acts were broadcast Live on the Internet and over 400
